I picked it up, drove it home and it was still squeaking very loud. The next day, Tuesday I call and he said the body shop did a great job and that I could pick it up. NO!!! The salesman told me he would get it over to the body shop to get the dings worked out of it. My truck stayed there over the weekend, I called Monday to check on the progress of the truck, although the headlamp hadn't come in, I figured all other work was being done with it. I agreed, not with any pleasure, to paying the $350. He also told me that the headlamp had to be ordered. The next day the Salesman called me back saying that it was going to cost me $350 for the headlamp, which personally I don't think I should be paying for because this is something they should have caught. I dropped the truck off and they did give me a loner car. I called Perkins Motor Plex and the salesman that I worked with told me to bring the truck back in, I also had a large, loud squeaking coming from the wheels.

Also down along side the driver side fender and door, you could see dings in the body, you couldn't see them that well out in the sunlight, but under the shop lights at Nissan, you could clearly see them. When the hood was shut, you could see a larger than normal gap between the hood and fender. After a "closer" inspection of the truck, I could see the headlamp assy housing was broken, also the grill was lose only being held on my "zip ties". After the purchase I drive the truck for about 5 days, taking it to the car was, afterward my headlamp when out, I took to Nissan dealership to get replace and they informed me that the whole headlamp assy would need replace as the truck had been wrecked and it would cost me $1200. Its a long story, but I'll shorten it as much as I can. It's the after that questions my thoughts of Perkins Motor Plex. I was well please with how my wife and I were treated and helped though the buying process. Let me start off saying however, during the purchase process, the service was excellent. Always try to view a vehicle first hand before a purchase. I would have imagined this to go a little differently but lesson learned. Second the vehicle was delivered later then the arranged time, close to 9:30pm in the dark and below a 1/4 tank of fuel. I didn’t necessarily like this idea but agreed to it just to make the process easier for them. After agreeing to purchase the vehicle they send an email stating they would rather drive the truck 400 miles to me to help reduce cost. Second, the delivery of the vehicle wasn’t what I expected. Also the intake mounting is damaged, only 2 bolts holding the lid on causing a poor seal for the system.

The vehicle didn’t have a owners manual which was never disclosed, the air filter for intake was never replaced through their inspection even though it seemed to be heavily clogged and in use for some time. I can live with these issues obviously but knowing before hand would had been nice. There is some cosmetic damages that was not pointed out and also some interior wear that was never shown. When a dealer list a vehicle for a online sale I believe photos should be of high quality and very detailed. The vehicle it’s self seems to be mechanically sound (driven only for 2 days so far) but cosmetically I feel some things wasn’t pointed out by the dealer. Not seeing a vehicle in person can have some disadvantages. Over all my experience was good but a few things I’d like to mention for someone doing this for the first time as well. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle online without haven’t ever seeing the vehicle first hand.
